HOLLYFORD TRACK

A 57.3 km long minimum 4 day walk from the sheer rock walls of the Darren Mountains down to the sand dunes of the Tasman Sea at Martins Bay. Experience the isolation of the Fiordland bush, dramatic view of mountains, lakes and the beautiful Hollyford River and then the sand and windswept beauty of Martins Bay.

MILFORD TRACK

Described as the finest walk in the world this 53.5 km walk follows glaciated valleys, ascends an alpine pass and traverses some of the finest scenery in the world. The walk takes four days and involves boat travel to and from the track. Prior bookings are essential.

KEPLER TRACK

A 60 km walk starting and finishing near Lake Te Anau. Lake edges, mountain beech forest, exposed mountain tops and glacial valleys along with excellent views of the Southern Alps may be obtained on this three/four day trip. Prior bookings are required.

ROUTEBURN TRACK

A 33 km (3 day walk) traversing spectacular alpine terrain. Track may be accessed from the Milford Road or Glenorchy Road end. Prior bookings are required.

TUATAPERE HUMP RIDGE TRACK

With views of Southland, Te Waewae Bay, Lakes Poteriteri and Hauroko this track provides a wide variety of scenery passing through landscapes that include coastline, the world famous Waitutu coastal marine terraces, podocarp and beech forest, to sub alpine settings and spectacular sandstone outcrops.

DUSKY TRACK

The Dusky Track links Lake Hauroko with Lake Manapouri, offers a two day detour to Supper Cove in Dusky Sound, traverses three major valley systems and crosses two mountain ranges. There are 21 three-wire bridges on this track and you can expect to encounter tree falls, deep mud, tree roots and river crossings. Flooding of parts of the track is not unusual and can cause delays. This track is for experienced trampers only.
