- State Highway 94 travels inland from Invercargill through rural hinterland and links the townships of Winton, Lumsden and Mossburn. The driving time for this route is 2 hours 15 minutes.
- If travelling to Te Anau, visitors can turn off SH 94 at Dipton and cut across to Mossburn without having to travel to Lumsden.
- If travelling to Manapouri, you can continue driving to Te Anau township and then follow the Te Anau-Manapouri Highway signs, OR you can turn off at Hillside Manapouri Road to drive directly to Manapouri.
