Travelling Tips

• Take time to explore - you are on holiday!
  
  
• Allow plenty of travelling time if driving.
  
  
• Kilometres or miles can be deceptive as roads are often windy and there is no opportunity to safely overtake slower vehicles.
  
  
• Fill up the car in Te Anau or Manapouri before departing as its a long way to the next petrol station.
  
  
• Always book key activities and accommodation before you arrive, particularly over summer months - especially in December and February to avoid missing out!
