Royd Tolkien visits Fiordland

We recently hosted Royd Tolkien in Fiordland.  He is the great grandson of the great JRR Tolkien.  Royd was in New Zealand to fulfil his late brother Mike's bucket list for New Zealand.  The trip will result in TV documentary in the UK.  Royd was fulfilling no 48 on the list - fly fishing in Fiordland - and he was to wear Mike's Tilley hat whilst he was fishing.  They had a great day and caught plenty of trout. Mike died from Motor Neurone disease in 2015 and Royd is also taking this opportunity to raise awareness of the disease.
