Top agents visit Fiordland

Fiordland recently hosted a Tourism New Zealand famil for some of the top selling agents from the Helloworld network in Australia.  They represent the top 1% of the company and are some of the most senior travel agents in Australia, holding incredible influence over their colleagues and the Australian retail industry. These agents represent 25% of the networks gross revenue, and each agent is personally responsible for generating between $300,000 and $1.5million in annual turnover.

Helloworld’s current brochure offer focuses on accommodation so these famils provide an opportunity to showcase top attractions, activities and transport options that they can consider building into their future offerings.  With this in mind the group experienced a wide variety of the activities on offer in Fiordland.  Arriving via Mt Nicholas Station and the "back road" to Te Anau they fished with Fishjet on the Upper Waiau River and tramped with Trips and Tramps and Southern Lakes Helictopters on a heli-hike on the Kepler Track.  Southern Discoveries provided a Milford Sound cruise and Trips and Tramps a guided Milford Track walk.  The group enjoyed the Fiordland Cinema and Black Dog Bar seeing a screening of the wonderfully scenic Ata Whenua - Fiordland on Film.  Fiordland Lodge hosted a cocktail function and they dined at The Moose, Redcliff Cafe and Ristorante & Pizzeria La Dolce Vita.  After all of that they rested their weary heads at the Distinction Luxmore Hotel.

They had a fabulous time and went away in love with Fiordland!
