The Upper Waiau often has its most exciting fishing at dusk when the evening hatch of caddis or mayfly occurs. Dusk is obviously a lot later during the peak of summer compared to spring or autumn, so the trip might depart at 4pm in January but right after lunch at 1pm in April. A Gourmet BQ dinner and drinks will be served riverside in a private and picturesque location before the evening rise starts. Specializing in fly fishing and spin fishing for all ages and abilities. All tackle and equipment supplied.

Minimum of 6 hrs on the water. Departure / Return times for Queens reach boat ramp (or pick up/drop off at accommodations in Te Anau or Manapouri will be arranged based on the time of year.
