Regarded as an NZ must-do dining experience, Pio Pio at Milford Sound Lodge is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Situated within a spectacular rainforest setting, Pio Pio is a Milford Sound highlight. It is open to guests of the lodge as well as those visiting the area for the day.

Breakfast

The perfect way to start your day of hiking or exploring Milford Sound. A friendly team, hearty and nourishing breakfast options, and, of course, great coffee.

Lunch

Lunch@TheLodge runs daily from noon and offers a relaxing long lunch setting like no other. Indulge in good food with good company for an unforgettable Fiordland lunch experience.

Dinner

With a focus on locally-sourced produce, Pio Pio is the perfect way to end your day in Milford Sound (and enjoy a night off cooking). The kitchen team serve up a dining experience to rival any big city restaurant - all set within an incredibly remote location. The vibe here is good food, good company and the sharing of stories. Fiordland favourites like wild venison and salmon feature on the menu alongside an easy kids’ menu and local wine and craft beers.

Pio Pio restaurant is located at Milford Sound Lodge. The restaurant is fully licensed and open seven days.
