Murrells Grand View Guest House

Murrells Grand View House was built in 1889 for the Murrell family to provide accommodation for the first tourists to the Manapouri area. The house has continued to be operated as accommodation since 1889 by the Murrell family making it the oldest of its kind in New Zealand. The house offers unique accommodation in historic surroundings and is set in 3 acres of gardens close to Lake Manapouri with magnificent views of the lake and mountains beyond.
