Doubtful Sound Kayak Full Day Tour is designed to maximise the time spent on the water of Doubtful Sound. Kayak with us and experience Doubtful Sound from Sea Level during your 4 hour Kayak from Deep Cove at the head of Doubtful Sound, followed by return water taxi.

About Doubtful Sound Kayak

Doubtful Sound Kayak Adventure is the longest kayaking day tour of the "Sound of Silence". During your 3.5 hour paddle you will journey up to 15km* into the wilderness of Doubtful Sound and it's unbelievable beauty. Get up close and personal with the majestic Fiords and feel immersed in the serenity and dramatic landscapes as you learn about the nature and history of the area from your local guide. 

As a return water taxi is provided, we can travel further out than any other tour operator on a day trip and also have the luxury of a support boat for any required breaks, storage of belongings as well as a dry spot to enjoy your own packed lunch and provided hot beverages.

We are a local, family owned company showcasing the breath-taking Doubtful Sound to a maximum 10 guests per adventure. This ensures a personal experience is provided by your knowledgeable Kayak Nature Guide.

Operates October to April daily.  Departs 6.40am returns 5.30pm
