While the full track will take you four days to complete and sells out in record time due to popularity, an independent and self-guided Milford Track day walk is the perfect option for you, your friends and family to get a taster of this spectacular Great Walk! 

 

With departures in Milford Sound to Sandfly point and back, we give you up to seven hours to explore the end of the Milford Track at your own pace and visit the famous Giant Gate Waterfall. 

Alternatively, enjoy exploring the first section of the Milford Track by taking our water taxi from Te Anau Downs to Glade Wharf in the morning and returning late afternoon from Glade Wharf back to Te Anau Downs. Enjoy a 50 minute boat journey each way on Lake Te Anau while ticking off this world famous trail experience.
